About the English Translation

Just a remark to those who use the translated page. I just noticed that the translation done by Google Translate is horribly bad. Just 2 examples from the Aikido blog:
  1. Original: "That is something like the Mecca for people who devoted themselves to Aikido."
Google's Translation: "This is something of a mecca for people who have given up Aikido."
  2. Original: "And because we are in Japan - in the end, everything will be cleaned neatly".
Google's Translation: "And because we are in Japan, is the end all dressed nicely."
What the hell are the using to create those translations? A random generator? Or just legions of scribes in some uncharted village somewhere in China?

Well, with that I guess it will still take a while before Google rules the world...

Anyway, this just as a warning about the translated texts: My texts might be wacky at times but if they seem ravingly mad then it's probably due to Google's fervor.

I'll try to find a better page for translation. Hints are welcome.

  1. I just tried Yahoo's Babelfish. The translation is even more fucked up:
    http://babelfish.yahoo.com/translate_url?doit=done&tt=url&intl=1&fr=bf-home&trurl=http%3A%2F%2Fyapaner.blogspot.com%2F&lp=de_en&btnTrUrl=Translate

I stop searching here. So please, tell me a good Web page for automated translation...
